Worcestershire Library Bookings

About Us

Worcestershire Libraries are vibrant community spaces, offering a wide range of services to meet the changing needs of Worcestershire communities, with a focus on encouraging reading & literacy, improving health & wellbeing, supporting learning, skills development and job seeking, addressing digital exclusion, supporting business enterprise, and promoting cultural engagement.

Library services in Worcestershire are delivered through 21 static libraries, 2 volunteer run community library links, a mobile library, a Library Service at Home, and a 24/7 digital library.

Co-locations with other Council & community services including Registration Services, Job Centres, local council Customer Service hubs, Citizens Advice and Age UK have established Worcestershire libraries as community hubs, while The Hive, a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester, remains the only integrated Public and University library in Europe.

A new ‘Libraries Unlocked’ service is bringing longer opening hours and more flexibility for customers and community groups to use their local library independently, when staff are not present, at times that are convenient to them.

We offer discounted booking rates to non-profit organisations and community groups:

  • When you sign up, click 'I am a member of a community group or charity' and select the user group 'Not for Profit Organisation'.
  • Please wait before placing your first booking. The Libraries team will email you to confirm your discount has been applied.
  • The website will then show the discounted prices.
